I Love to See My Baby

I love to see my baby on a Saturday night
I love to watch the way her hair blows in the moonlight
She's got her own way of bein'
And she's got her own way of seein' things
   And she sings

First time I met her, she said, "Tell me
Somethin' about which you've been thinkin' "
She smiled when I mentioned
That I am not conventional
She said, "That's just as well
   "That's swell
   "But I could tell"

I love to take my baby to the Saturday fair
I love to watch the way the moon shines in her hair
Sweetest lips I ever tasted
Greatest love I ever made with her
I'm not tellin' where we were

The winters are hot and the summers are cold
Tell me how you see through them blindfolds
She knows without knowin' what she's knowin'
And goes without knowin' where she's goin' wrong
Hmm -- seems like she's never wrong

I love to see my baby on a Saturday night
I love to watch the way her hair blows in the moonlight
She's got her own way of seein'
And she's got her own way of bein' there
   Without a single care
   She's my single care
